MORGANTOWN, W.VA., MAY 1, 2024 – Laurel College of Technology is gearing up for their Week of Service this coming June. They have events planned beginning on June 10th through the 14th, happening at their Morgantown campus, located at 200 Wedgewood Drive in Morgantown, WV, just off of Van Voorhis Road.

Laurel has exciting events planned to get the community involved as they dedicate this week to raising funds for Animal Friends of North Central WV and the WVU Children’s Hospital Radiothon hosted by WVAQ & WKKW in the fall. Last year, thanks to the support of their students and the local community, Laurel was able to donate $1,000 to the WVU Children’s Hospital Radiothon. In addition, last year, they were also able to make a donation to Read WV!

This year, Laurel has a great week of events planned, including raffle ticket drawings, student salon services, on-site food trucks, STEM projects for children in the community, and more! “We’re excited to welcome WVAQ back this year to support the radiothon again,” says Doug Decker, VP of Operations at Laurel. “We invite the community to come visit the campus here at Laurel College-Morgantown as we give back to the West Virginia community that has been so welcoming to us.”

Appointments for the student salon will be available during the week. Please call the salon at 304-381-4097 extension 611. Walk-ins may be limited based on appointment volume, so be sure to make your appointment beforehand!

Mark your calendars and plan to come join Laurel in servicing Morgantown and the surrounding areas with these upcoming events during their 2024 Week of Service! Find more information at or visit the Laurel College of Technology Facebook page.
