United Way and WVRC Media personnel will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to area food banks via the United Way of Monongalia and Preston County Helpful Harvest Food Program.

    • Pasta sauces in cans or plastic jars (no glass please!)

    • Dry pasta

    • Baking mixes

    • Instant potatoes

    • Canned beans

    • Dry herbs and spices

    • Rice

    • Soup

    • Cereals

    • Shelf-stable or powdered milk

    • Can openers

    • All items need to be shelf-stable, damage free, unopened, and non-expired
